1960 Greco-Roman Olympian Fritz Fivian passed away on April 2

Fritz Fivian, a member of the 1960 U.S. Olympic Greco-Roman Team, passed away on Thursday, April 2.
Fivian was a 1962 graduate from Oregon State University, where he was a three-time conference champion. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea, and also competed on the U.S. Army wrestling team.
He was a member of the 1959 Oregon State team which won the Pacific Coach championship.
"Fritz was a true gentleman and a good man. We'll miss him.," said OSU teammate John Dustin. "Fritz was our middleweight lead-off wrestler, then Don Conway, OSU's first NCAA champion, then myself in the Oregon State line-up. So many special memories flood into mind from the old days."
A Memorial service will be held on April 11th, at 10:00 am at Lincoln Memorial, 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland OR 97266.
