Willie Gadson and Mark Ironside to go ‘On the Mat’ this week

This week's edition of "On the Mat" will feature Willie Gadson and Mark Ironside. Gadson will join Kent Sesker, marketing director at the Dan Gable International Wrestling Institute and Museum, in studio for this week's show.
Gadson is the current head wrestling coach at East Waterloo High School. His team placed tenth at the 2008 Iowa High School State Wrestling Championship. Gadson was a two-time All-American at Iowa State University in 1975 & '76 as well as a two-time junior college national champion for Nassau in 1973 & '74.
Ironside was a four-time All-American and a two-time NCAA champion for the University of Iowa. During his career with the Hawkeyes he compiled a 127-10 record, ending his career with a 67 match winning streak. Ironside was also the 1998 recipient of the Dan Hodge Trophy, given annually to the nation's most dominant college wrestler.
"On the Mat" is a weekly wrestling radio program that airs every Wednesday night. This week's broadcast can be heard live from 6-7 p.m. Central Standard Time. The Dan Gable International Wrestling Institute and Museum in Waterloo, Iowa, hosts the show.
