UPDATED - U.S. women's wrestling match summaries for Sunday, August 17

63 kg/138.75 lbs. - Randi Miller (Colorado Springs, Colo./Gator WC)

Bronze medal match - Randi Miller (USA) dec. Martine Degrenier (Canada), 1-0, 1-2, 1-1

First period - Miller forces the action early, moving Degrenier all around the mat. Miller scored a pushout at 31 seconds to lead 1-0. Degrenier attempted a shot which was blocked by Miller. With 20 seconds left another Degrenier shot was unsuccessful.

Second period - Miller forces a pushout at 19 seconds to lead 1-0. Dugrenier scored a leg attack takedown at 28 seconds, 1-1. Degrenier hit a single leg, switched to a double and scored a takedown at 58 seconds, 2-1.

Third period - Miller started out with heavy pressure. Miller snapped her down but couldn't get the front headlock. A Degrenier double leg shot is coverted to a takedown at 1:16, 1-0. Miller got her front headlock at 1:25 and tried to get behind. Miller scored the takedown with 1:55 to make it 1-1. Miller wins the match by scoring the last point in the period.

Repechage match - Randi Miller (USA) pin Olesya Zamula (Azerbaijan), 2-0, 0:32

First period: Miller pushed Zamula out of bounds at 28 seconds, 1-0. Miller pushed Zamula out of bounds again at 36 seconds, 2-0. Miller forced the action the rest of the period, but no additional points were scored.

Second period: With hard pressure on Zamula, Miller knocked Zamula to the mat, quickly turned her over and secured a pin in 32 seconds.

Quarterfinals - Kaori Icho (Japan) pin Randi Miller (USA), 3-0, 1:20

First period - Miller comes out actively, pushing Icho and tieing the head. Icho gets behind Miller and scores a takedown at 21 seconds, 1-0. Icho gets a two-point gut wrench exposure at 40 seconds, 3-0.

Second period - Icho gets a single leg takedown at 48 seconds to lead 1-0. She sinks in a leg, works the head and turns Miller for two points. Icho adchsts to the head and secures the pin at 1:20

First round - Randi Miller (USA) dec. Yuliya Ostapchuk (Ukraine), 0-2, 2-0, 3-0

First period - Ostapchuk scored a quick takedown in the opening seconds, 1-0. Miller gets a front headlock, but Ostapchuk shucks her by and gets a takedown at 1:10, 2-0.

Second period - Miller gets a front headlock, uses it to attack, and drives Ostapchuk out of bounds to her back for two points in 17 seconds, 2-0.

Third period - Miller gets a go behind to a single leg takedown at 17 seconds, 1-0. Miller secures an ankle lace and turns her for two point exposure, 3-0 at 58 seconds. Miller dominates the tie position and holds strong the rest of the period.

Qualification match - Randi Miller (USA) pin Haiat Farac (Egypt), 0:40

First period - Miller locks up a front headlock and scores a takedown within 20 seconds. Miller drives her over with a half nelson, puts her on her back and secures the pin in 40 seconds. Farac was unconscious on the mat after the match, and had to be revived by medical staff.

72 kg/158.5 lbs. - Ali Bernard, (New Ulm, Minn./Gator WC)

Bronze medal match -Kyoko Hamaguchi (Japan) dec. Ali Bernard (USA), 3-0, 3-1

First period - Hamaguchi gets a leg shot and scores a takedown at 15 seconds, 1-0. Hamaguchi gets a spin behind takedown at 1:00, 2-0. Hamaguchi scores another spin behind takedown at 1:25, 3-0. Bernard tries an arm throw at the end of the period but can't score.

Second period - Hamaguchi gets a snap down and spin behind takedown at 38 seconds to lead 1-0. Bernard shoots on a low single, and Hamaguchi spins behind to make it 2-0. Another Bernard leg shot is countered with a spin behind takedown, 3-0. Bernard gets a low single at 1:42 to make it 3-1. Referee puts them on their feet with seven seconds left. Bernard tries to get a throw but can't get a lock.

Repechage match - Ali Bernard (USA) dec. Jenny Fransson (Sweden), 3-1, 3-0

First period - Fransson tried to go upper body early in the match. Bernard took a shot, and Fransson locked up a front headlock, but it went to a stalemate. Another Bernard shot was blocked and Fransson got into a whizzer position, but both ended back on the feet. Bernard won a scramble and got a takedown at 1:30 to lead 1-1. Bernard sunk in a leg and turned Fransson for two points in the final seconds, and Fransson got a reversal to end the period at 3-1.

Second period - Fransson secured another front headlock, but they went out of bounds on their knees. Fransson tried to throw Bernard by from their knees, but Bernard came out on top with a takedown at about the 1:00 mark, 1-0. Bernard turned Fransson with a two-point hip toss with one second left, 3-

Quarterfinals - Wang Jiao (China) dec. Ali Bernard (USA), 3-1, 7-3

First period - Bernard got underneath Wang then on into a front headlock, but lost a scramble on the edge, with Wang getting a takedown at 30 seconds, 1-0. Bernard hits a low single at 1:11 to tie the match at 1-1. Bernard worked a high half nelson with a leg in but got to high, and Wang came out the back at 1:53 to get a two-point reversal and win the period, 3-1.

Second period - Wang shot in on a single leg on Bernard for a takedown in 20 seconds, 1-0. Wang used a high gut wrench to turn Bernard at 40 seconds. Officials went to the video and called it a 4-2 score. Bernard got a takedown to make it 4-3. Bernard sunk in a leg and it was stalemated at 1:46. Bernard tries a duck under, is put down onto her back, giving up three points for a 7-3 decision.

First match - Ali Bernard (USA) pin Amanchi Favour Obiajunwa (Nigeria), 0:44

First period - After some exchanges, the athletes get into a scramble. Bernard steps over, puts Obiajunwa on her back and secures the fall in 44 seconds
