84 kg/185 lbs. - Brad Vering (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC)

Second match - Denis Forov (Armenia) dec. Brad Vering (USA), 4-0, 1-2, 3-0

First period - Tough pummeling but no advantage and no takedowns.
Reverse lift 1 - Ball is red. Vering is down. Forov tries a lift, then runs Vering over for two points. Forov then hits a one-point gutwrench, 3-0. Period ends on the feet.
Reverse lift 2 - Vering on top. Vering tries a lift. They go to the mat. Vering can't turn the gutwrench. Point to Forov for defending, 4-0.

Second period - Vering gets a bodylock takedown to lead 1-0 in the final seconds of the period.
Reverse lift 1 - Vering on top. Vering working for gut wrench. Forov defends for one point, 1-1.
Reverse lift 2 - Vering on bottom. Forov goes for gut wrench. Vering defends and gets one point to win period, 2-1

Third period - No takedown.

First period - Wheeler works the head but can't get an attack. No takedowns
Reverse lift 1 - Ball is blue. Wheeler is on top. Wheeler can't get a turn. One point to Jiang for defending, 1-0.
Reverse lift 2 - Wheeler on bottom . Jiang locks up a front headlock, and turns Wheeler for two points, three different times. Gets 7-0 tech fall.

Second period - No takedown
Reverse lift 1 - Ball is red. Wheeler is up. Wheeler works for a two-point turn, but Jiang quickly recovers and gets a two-point reversal, a 2 and 2 exchange. No more scoring, 2-2.
Reverse lift 2 - Wheeler is down. Jiang tries his favorite reverse lift position but can't score. Wheeler gets one point for defending, 3-2.

Third period - No takedown
Reverse lift 1 - Ball is red. Wheeler is up. Jiang defends for one point, stopping the gut wrench, 1-0.
Reverse lift 2 - Wheeler is down. Jiang goes to that front headlock but Wheeler defends to receive one point.

First match - Adam Wheeler (USA) dec. Lajos Virag (Hungary), 1-1, 1-1, 1-1.

First period - Pummeling for position, neither wrestler gets an attempt. No takedown.
Reverse lift 1 - Ball is red. Wheeler is down. Wheeler gets to his feet. Virag can't get anything. One point to Wheeler, 1-0.
Reverse lift 2 - Wheeler on top. Gets a gut wrench. Almost gets a turn, the officials wave it off. One point to Virag, 1-1. Virag wins period by scoring last point.

Second period - Wheeler picks up the pace, but can't get a technique. No takedowns.
Reverse lift 1 - Ball is blue. Wheeler is on top. Switches to gut wrench. Tries a power half but no turn. One point to Virag, 1-0.

Reverse lift 2 - Byers down. Byers defends and gets to his feet. Byers gets one point for defending, 3-0.

Reverse lift 1 - Ball is red. Byers is down. Byers is able to defend, and receives one point, 1-0.
Reverse lift 2 - Byers is up. Attempts a lift and a gut wrench but can't finish. One point to Sjolberg, 1-1. Sjolberg wins period by scoring last.

Third period - No takedown
Reverse lift 1 - Ball is red. Byers is down. Byers does a good job on defense. One point for defending, 1-0.
Reverse lift 2 - Byers is up. He attempts his turns and lifts, but can not complete. One point to Sjolberg for defending, 1-1. Sjolbert win

Reverse lift 2 - Byers down. Byers is strong on defense as Chernetskyi doesn't get close to turning him. Point to Byers for defending. Byers wins 2-0.
