Travis Rutt named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week for March 27-April 2

Travis Rutt (New Prague, Minn./Minnesota Storm) has been named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week for March 27-April 2.
Each week, TheMat.com will select an Athlete of the Week, based upon performance within wrestling for that week. The selection committee will consider any level of wrestling, from youth programs through the Senior level.
Rutt won a title at the Final Olympic Trials Qualifier in Greco-Roman wrestling at 84 kg/185 lbs. on Sunday at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.
Rutt swept Adam Carey 6-0, 3-0 in the finals.
Rutt, who is taking an Olympic redshirt this year, downed 2008 Olympian and past World Team member T.C. Dantzler 2-0, 1-1 in the quarterfinals.
Rutt placed seventh at the 2011 NCAA Championships for Wisconsin. He is a past U.S. Junior World Team member in Greco-Roman.
