Kelly Anundson named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week for Dec. 8-14

Kelly Anundson (Columbia, S.C./Black Knight WC) has been named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week for Dec. 8-14.
Each week, TheMat.com will select an Athlete of the Week, based upon performance within wrestling for that week. The selection committee will consider any level of wrestling, from youth programs through the Senior level.
Anundson won two gold medals over the weekend at the FILA Grappling World Championships in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Anundson won the Open division for men in No-Gi Grappling after defeating U.S. teammate Mario Rinaldi (Port St. Lucia, Fla./American Top Team), 2-1, in overtime. It was Anundson's second gold medal for the weekend, after winning the 120 kg/264.5 lbs. title in No-Gi on Saturday.
Anundson was a 2008 NCAA Division II All-American for Newberry (S.C.) College.
