Heads Up podcast Season 3, Episode 2 featuring Kyven Gadson now available

In Season 3, Episode 2 of Heads Up, a podcast by the USA Wrestling National Coaches Council, Mike Clayton and Mike Hagerty speak with Iowa State and USA Wrestling great Kyven Gadson.


The trio discuss Gadson’s family history in the sport, goal setting, big wrestling matchups, what it takes to be great both on and off the mat, and more.


Gadson won a NCAA Division I individual championship in 2015 for Iowa State and was a two-time U.S. Open champion on the Senior level (2017, 2019). He is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Development at the Iowa State University Foundation, and is co-founder and president of Be RARE, an initiative that promotes healthy social and emotional learning through creative outlets.
