Mat Chat with David Mirikitani, episode 120 with Jahi Jones, HBCU Wrestling Initiative executive director, is now available

In the latest episode of the Mat Chat Podcast, hosted by David Mirikitani, fans can hear a Black History Month feature that highlights Jahi Jones, a former University of Maryland wrestler who is now the executive director of the HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) Wrestling Initiative.
In this episode, Mirikitani sits down with Jones to discuss many topics, including the historic news of Morgan State University starting a Div. I wrestling program, the goals and impact of the Black Wrestling Association (BWA) and more.
Jones was an NCAA qualifier and team captain at the University of Maryland who is using his platform after his wrestling career to help “restore wrestling to America’s historically black colleges” through the HBCU Wrestling Initiative.
In the podcast, Mirikitani and Jones talk about the mission of both the BWA and the HBCU Wrestling Initiative, and they discuss future opportunities that exist for growth.
