Brackets have been released for the 2026 NCAA Women’s Wrestling Championships, which is set for March 6-7 at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa.


This is the landmark inaugural year for the NCAA Women’s Wrestling Championships, and will feature programs from the NCAA Division I, II and III ranks.


Brackets, which were officially released on the Friday morning NCAA selection show, will feature 18 individual wrestlers across each of the 10 weight classes. Each wrestler qualified for the field by placing in the top three at one-of-six NCAA Regionals held last weekend.


Wrestlers earning a No. 1 seed include Heather Crull of McKendree at 103 pounds, Audrey Jimenez of Lehigh at 110 pounds, Yu Sakamoto of McKendree at 117 pounds, Sarah Sterner of North Central at 124 pounds, Cameron Guerin of McKendree at 131 pounds, Katerina Lange of Grand Valley State at 138 pounds, Reese Larramendy of Iowa at 145 pounds, Kennedy Blades of Iowa at 160 pounds, Kylie Welker of Iowa at 180 pounds and Tristan Kelly of McKendree at 207 pounds.


The tournament will be contested over two days, with two sessions each day. On Friday, March 6, the tournament will run through the quarterfinals. The semifinals and finals will be featured on Saturday, March 7. Action begins at 10 a.m. (CT) both days, with the finals set for a 7 p.m. (CT) primetime show.


All session tickets remain on sale through the Xtream Arena Box Office. Prices are $59 for adults and $35.50 for students.
