Despite Top-Five Shuffle, Augsburg Remains on Top in NWCA D3 Men’s Coaches Poll

Manheim, Pa. – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has released its first Regular Season NCAA Division III Men's Men's Coaches Polls. The Auggies of Augsburg remain in the driver's seat with 58 points and are followed closely by Wartburg's 54 pts which jumped up from 4th.  The rest of the top five has been reshuffled with #3 TCNJ (49), #4 Roanoke (46), and holding at #5 is UW-La Crosse (33.5)

This month's rankings feature nine different schools represented by top-ranked wrestlers, with four weight classes seeing new leaders: 149 Matt Randolph (Augsburg), 165 Clayton McDonough (Luther), 184 Ganon Smith (Elizabethtown), and 197 DJ Henry (TCNJ). The College of New Jersey stands alone as the only program with multiple No. 1s, holding the top spots at 174 and 197.
