U17, U20 champions shine at 2025 USA Wrestling Beach Nationals in Carolina Beach

CAROLINA BEACH, N.C. – The 2025 USA Wrestling Beach Nationals saw 14 athletes bring home national titles across four divisions on Saturday. The U17 and U20 tournaments were held in Carolina Beach, with both men’s and women’s action contested.

There were a trio of champions crowned in the U17 men’s division.  Bladen Ingle of Top Dawg went 3-0 at 60 kg, Benjamin Graham of Illinois won the title at 70 kg, and Kirick Gurkin was the champion at 80 kg.

Champions in the U17 women’s division were Isabella Raygoza of North Carolina at 45 kg, June Treser-Pyles of MVKWA Patriot Wrestling Club at 55 kg, and Cheyanne Wolfard-Henry of West Kitsap Wrestling club at 65 kg. Only the 55 kg bracket had more than one competitor registered, with Treser-Pyles going 2-0 in a round robin bracket to secure the top spot.

In the U20 men’s division, there were four champions in Jaylen Bethea of Forge Wrestling at 70 kg, Waleed Khairi of Power Training Center at 80 kg, Pierce White of Boone RTC at 90 kg, and Dominic Porter of California at Over 90 kg.

Champions in the U20 women’s division were Jayden Keller of The Nest Wrestling Club at 50 kg, Kennedie Snow at 60 kg, Amber Hunter of Western Maryland Wrestling Club at 70 kg, and Shylee Tuzon of GV Wrestling at Over 70 kg.
