Experienced U.S. team to compete at Beach World Series Casablanca in Morocco, September 6-7

The U.S. will send a delegation of eight experienced wrestlers, five men and three women, to compete in the Beach World Series Casablanca in Casablanca, Morocco, September 6-7. This is the third stop of the five-event Senior Beach World Series for 2025.

 

2023 and 2024 World champion Eliana Bommarito is competing in Morocco the Women’s Over 70 kg division. Bommarito won gold medals in six separate Beach World Series events in 2023 and 2025. So far in 2025, Bommarito has secured a pair of bronze medals in the Beach World Series events in Monterrey, Mexico and Porec, Croatia.

 

Kyle Ferriter, a World bronze medalist in 2024 Beach World Series will wrestle in the Over 90 kg division for me.

He won a Beach World Series bronze medal in France in 2024. So far this season, Ferriter placed fourth in the World Series events in Monterrey, Mexico and Porec, Croatia.

 

Experienced international wrestler Bryan Coll will wrestle at 70 kg. He was eighth in his weight class in the final 2024 Beach World Series standings. This year, he placed seventh in his weight class in both Monterrey, Mexico and Porec, Croatia. Coll was also second in 2024 U.S. Beach Nationals.

 

A pair of 2025 U.S. Beach Nationals champion will also compete, Olivia Pizano in women’s 70 kg and Jacob Bumgardner in men’s 90 kg. Pizano was eighth in her weight class in the final 2024 Beach World Series standings

 

Jabari Irons, a2022 U.S. Beach Nationals champion, will wrestle at 90 kg. Irons was also third in the 2025 U.S. Beach Nationals.

 

Erin Kremer, who was third in 2025 U.S. Beach Nationals, is entered in the Over 70 kg weight class. Also competing will be Gus Johnson in the men’s 70 kg weight class.

 

In the 2025 Beach World Series rankings, after the first two events of the year., Bommarito is No. 1, Ferriter is No. 4, Coll is No. 8 and Pizano is No. 8.

 

Beach World Series Casablanca will be broadcast live by FloWrestling. Session times each day are 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time. Casablanca is five hours ahead of U.S. Eastern time zone.

 

There will be two rounds of Group competition on Saturday. Sunday morning will feature the final Group competition, with the elimination rounds and finals in the afternoon session.
