COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (August 6, 2025) — USA Wrestling is proud to announce the continuation of its national partnership with BAND, the leading communication app for groups and teams. Now entering its third consecutive year, this ongoing collaboration reaffirms both organizations’ shared commitment to empowering wrestling coaches, athletes, and administrators through stronger, smarter communication.

As part of the extended partnership, BAND will continue to serve as the official group communication platform for USA Wrestling, helping streamline coordination, event management and information sharing across national events, education programs and local team communities.

“USA Wrestling is grateful to continue its partnership with BAND as we remain committed to enhancing the experience of our members with the efficient, effective communication tools that BAND provides. We look forward to another successful year with BAND,” said Rich Bender, Executive Director of USA Wrestling.

BAND’s impact was on full display during the 2025 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals in Fargo, N.D., the largest wrestling tournament in the world. With thousands of athletes, coaches and staff in attendance, USA Wrestling used BAND to deliver real-time updates, bracket changes, weigh-in times and urgent alerts directly to coaches, ensuring everyone stayed informed and connected throughout the high-stakes event.

Building on that success, USA Wrestling will continue to use BAND at its major national events in 2026, including regional qualifiers, national championships and training camps. With its user-friendly features like group messaging, read receipts, calendar integration and file sharing, BAND helps eliminate miscommunication and keeps teams focused on performance.

“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with USA Wrestling and support the incredible coaches and athletes who drive this sport forward,” said Sidney Chae, General Manager of BAND. “Over the past two years, we’ve seen firsthand how powerful clear, timely communication can be—especially at events like Fargo. As we look ahead, we’re excited to keep innovating and growing with the wrestling community, providing the tools they need to stay connected, stay informed, and stay focused on what matters most.”

Beyond event logistics, BAND also plays a critical role in supporting USA Wrestling’s National Coach Education Program (NCEP). Through official BAND groups, certified coaches gain easy access to exclusive resources, training materials and peer networking opportunities, enhancing their knowledge and ability to lead effectively at all levels of the sport.

Since the partnership began in 2023, BAND has quickly become the most widely used team communication app among wrestling clubs and programs across the country. From high school programs to elite travel clubs, wrestling coaches are choosing BAND as their go-to platform to manage schedules, coordinate travel, share media and keep parents and athletes in the loop—all from one app.

With more features planned and new integrations on the horizon, BAND is committed to evolving alongside the needs of the wrestling community. Whether it’s streamlining the chaos of tournament weekends or providing a digital space for coach education and support, BAND and USA Wrestling are working hand-in-hand to make the sport more connected than ever.
