The 2025 CLAW U.S. Open Championships, which will feature over 5,000 participants this week in Las Vegas, will be run through USA Wrestling’s new event management platform USA Bracketing.

Here are five tips to help get fans and athletes alike acquainted with USA Bracketing ahead of the festivities in Las Vegas.

1. Create your account ahead of time

In order to access USA Bracketing, users must create an account and sign in to view an event. To create your account, visit usabracketing.com, select Create an Account, and follow the prompts. Users will have the option to create an account from scratch or create an account using existing USA Wrestling Membership ID information.

2. Find an event to follow

Once logged in, it’s time to find the specific event you want to follow on USA Bracketing. Select the Events menu option at the top of the screen. The U.S. Open Championships event is pinned at the top of the events list on this page. You can also search for any event on USA Bracketing by selecting the Search Events button on the top right of your screen—simply set your filter parameters and search.

3. Browse event brackets

Now that you’ve found the event you want to follow, it’s time to browse brackets. To access brackets, either select the Brackets icon in the Follow section of the event page, or select Brackets from the dropdown menu at the top of the event page located next to the home icon, which is default set to General. Links to all brackets for each division and weight class will be visible on this page.

Once a bracket has been selected and is displayed on screen, users can edit the bracket view by changing the Template using the dropdown menu on the top left of the page. Users can also navigate brackets by using the Weight dropdown menu on the top right of the page.

4. Follow specific wrestlers and teams

USA Bracketing allows users to follow individual wrestlers or teams using the My Wrestlers feature. To access this feature, either select the My Wrestlers icon in the Follow section of the event page, or select My Wrestlers from the dropdown menu at the top of the event page located next to the home icon, which is default set to General.

On the My Wrestlers page, select the Add Wrestlers or Add Teams button on the top right of the screen. Using the search bar under Wrestlers or Teams type in the name of the wrestler or team you’d like to follow. Once your wrestler or team is selected, pick the type of alert(s) you’d like to receive (mat assignments, results) and your preferred alert method (text message, email or system alerts).

USA Wrestling leader members receive free text alerts on USA Bracketing. For non-USA Wrestling leader members, text alerts are available for purchase in the blue bar located at the bottom of the Add Wrestlers or Add Teams pages. Email alerts and system alerts are available for free. To access system alerts, hit the notification bell icon on the top right of the screen.

5. More USA Bracketing questions

We understand USA Bracketing is a new system, and many users will be logging in for the first time during the U.S. Open. If you have questions as you start using the platform, visit the Support menu located at the top of the website for a full list of FAQs, as well as a Contact Us form to submit a help ticket.
