Texas Blue is No. 1 seed at 16U, Team Kansas is No. 1 seed at 14U in Girls National Greco-Roman Duals

WESTFIELD, Indiana – The Greco-Roman seeds have been released for both the 16U Girls National Duals and the 14U Girls National Duals.

In the Girls 16U Greco-Roman National Duals, No. 1 seed Texas Blue will the top seed in Pool A. No. 2 seed Oklahoma Outlaws Red will be the top seed in Pool B. No. 3 seed Ohio Blue will be the top seed in Pool C. No. 4 seed California will be the top seed in Pool D.

The seeded teams are based upon the average PIN rating of each of the athletes on the state team rosters. Here are the top 8 seeded teams in the Girls 16U Greco-Roman National Duals tournament.

14U Girls National Greco-Roman Duals brackets

The 16U Girls National Duals is a new tournament, so there are no returning Greco-Roman team champions and placewinners.

Last year, Pennsylvania also claimed the U14 Girls Greco-Roman National Duals title, going 8-0 in a complete nine-team round robin tournament. Coming in second place was Minnesota, which lost its only match to Pennsylvania, which occurred during round three of the round robin bracket. Red River rivals Oklahoma Blue and Texas Blue wound up in the third and fourth place slots. Rounding out placements five through nine in order are Ohio Red, Kansas, Indiana, South Carolina and North Carolina,

Session times on Saturday are 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

All of the action in both 16U and 14U divisions will be broadcast live by FloWrestling
