The group of 30 athletes that will compete at the U23 Pan American Championships in Rionegro, Colombia, later this month has been set. The event is slated to take place on June 21-22, with Greco-Roman competition and half of the Women’s freestyle competition on Friday, while Men’s freestyle and the remaining five Women’s freestyle weight classes to compete on Saturday. The two-day tournament will be held at the Coliseo Iván Ramiro Córdoba in Rionegro.

In Men's freestyle and Greco-Roman, the winners from the U23 Nationals in Geneva, Ohio, had the opportunity of securing the first spots on the team. This selection process continued down to the first through eighth place finishers at the tournament. The Women's freestyle team was determined at the Women's Nationals in early April in Spokane, Washington, where the top athletes earned their places on the team.
