HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – In the 18-year history of U.S. Beach National Wrestling Championships being held by USA Wrestling, for the first time the annual national championships has been held on the West Coast.

The Beach Wrestling community from California USA Wrestling put together a successful event, which included numerous age levels for boys and girls, as well as a Masters division for men. We post the champions in all of the age groups from today’s action, except for the Senior division which is in a separate article.

Senior World champion Eliana Bommarito of Michigan was the U20 Women’s Nationals champion in the Over 70 kg weight class, scoring two victories in her round robin. The other U20 Women’s champion was Sadie Evans of FordDynastyWrestlingClub at 70 kg.

The U20 men’s champions were Brian Nero of California (70 kg), Dwight Weimer Jr of North County WC (80 kg), Ryan Dunne of Wyoming (90 kg) and Jackson Mankowski of Wisconsin (Over 90 kg).

Among the age-group girls champions was Samantha Sachs of Glendora High School, the 60 kg champion in the U17 age division. Sachs won the 2024 USMC Junior Nationals in freestyle this past summer.

Boys champions were crowned in the 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, U17, Junior and U20 levels. Girls champions were crowned at the 12U, 14U, 16U, U17 and U20 levels.
