Schedule for Friday, November 17, adjusted for Bill Farrell Memorial International

The Friday schedule for the annual Bill Farrell Memorial International at New York City’s famed New York Athletic Club, Nov. 17-18 has been altered to accommodate record-high registration numbers in Greco-Roman and women’s freestyle.
The Saturday schedule for men’s freestyle is not affected by this schedule change and remains the same.
The new start time on is Friday are 9:30 a.m., with preliminary rounds, quarterfinals, and round one of repechage of Greco-Roman action. Session two will begin at 2 p.m. with preliminary and quarterfinal rounds for women’s freestyle.
At 5:00 p.m. are the semifinals for Greco-Roman and women’s freestyle, as well as repechage and third place matches for both styles. Finals for both styles will begin at 7 p.m.
Up for grabs are spots in the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Wrestling at Penn State in April. The top U.S. place winner (in the top four) in each weight class who has not already qualified in each weight class will advance to the Challenge Tournament of the Olympic Trials. The tournament will feature only the six Olympic Games weight classes, not the normal 10 World Championships weight classes.

Session I
9:30 a.m. – Greco-Roman ONLY: preliminary rounds, quarterfinals, and round one of repechage
Session II
2:00 p.m. – Women’s freestyle ONLY: preliminary rounds, quarterfinals
Session III
5:00 p.m. – Greco-Roman and women’s freestyle semifinals, repechage and third place matches
7:00 p.m. – Greco-Roman and women’s freestyle finals
*Repechage = All athletes who have lost to a Semifinalist will be placed in a repechage.
