Tomorrow night, 74 kg Olympic and World champion Jordan Burroughs will bump up to take on 86 kg World champion David Taylor in a match between two of the most exciting and popular wrestlers on the planet. While the bout was originally scheduled for Saturday night, it was postponed due to COVID-19 protocol.

The Thursday night event was put together on short notice, but FloWrestling managed to compile an exciting five-match undercard, featuring three high-school bouts and two Senior-level matchups, in addition the Burroughs vs. Taylor main event. Wrestling begins at 8 p.m. EST and can be streamed live on FloWrestling.

Below, let’s dive into the undercard.

116 pounds – Anthony Knox vs. Ben Davino
The first match of the night pits New Jersey’s Anthony Knox against Illinois’s Ben Davino. Knox is one of the top middle school wrestlers in the country and a 2019 USAW Kids Freestyle Nationals champion. Davino is a freshman currently ranked No. 7 in the country at 106 pounds.

117 pounds – Sage Mortimer vs. Audrey Jimenez
The lone women’s freestyle bout on the card features No. 2 in the National Girls High School rankings at 106 pounds Sage Mortimer taking on Arizona’s Audrey Jimenez. Mortimer is a 2019 Cadet World Team member and three-time Fargo champion. Jimenez is a 2019 15U Pan Am champion and a 2019 Women’s Nationals 14U champion.

145 pounds – Cody Chittum vs. Jordan Williams
This match features Cody Chittum, the No. 1 high school wrestler in the country at 145 pound, taking on the No. 2 wrestler in the country at 145 pounds Jordan Williams. Chittum is a two-time Fargo 16U place-winner in both freestyle and Greco-Roman. Williams is two-time Fargo 16U champion in men’s freestyle.

65 kg – Joey McKenna vs. Seth Gross
Both of these wrestlers notched wins at FloWrestling’s Saturday night event. McKenna bested Nahshon Garrett, and Gross downed Zane Richards. Now the two will face off against each other. McKenna, a Junior World silver medalist and U23 World bronze medalist, should have a size advantage over Gross, a former Cadet and Junior World Team member, who is going 57 kg for the Olympic year. Gross, the 2019 Bill Farrell champion should be weighing in a little heavier than usual, as his match with Richards was at 61 kg.

215 pounds- J’den Cox vs. Nate Jackson
Reigning two-time World champion J’den Cox is back on the mat after notching a, 6-1, victory over former National Team member Hayden Zillmer , 6-1. Cox, who is also an Olympic and World bronze medalist, will take on 2019 Alexander Medved International champion Nate Jackson. On Saturday, Jackson, a 2020 Senior Nationals runner-up, dominated Wynn Michalak, 12-1.
