Eight-match undercard announced for HWC Showdown Open

Yesterday, University of Iowa Head Coach Tom Brands announced via Twitter that an eight-match undercard will take place before the main card on Sunday’s Hawkeye Wrestling Club Showdown Open at the Xtreme Arena in Coralville. Both the undercard and the nine-match main card feature various college and Senior-level wrestlers competing against each other. However, the undercard appears to be more Iowa-centric, featuring several intersquad matchups. The action will begin at 4 p.m. CST, two hours before the main card, and can be streamed live on Trackwrestling.
