Coming in as the No. 7 seed in the 60 kg Greco-Roman bracket at the 2020 Senior Nationals, Mosha Schwartz turned some heads, making a run to the finals.

Schwartz had a successful true-freshman season at Northern Colorado last year, where he earned NWCA All-American Honorable Mention honors. Schwartz has had considerable age-group success in Greco-Roman. He was a member of the 2016 Cadet World Team and won a 16U title in Fargo in 2015 while finishing runner-up in the Junior division in 2019.

In the quarterfinals, Schwartz ran into the No. 2 seed Randon Miranda. A two-time Junior World Team member and 2018 U23 World Team member, Miranda has established himself on the Senior scene, winning the 2019 Dave Schultz Memorial, the 2018 Bill Farrell International, the 2017 Arvo Haavisto Cup in Finland and the 2017 Klippan Cup in Sweden.

After winning this match, Schwartz defeated Dylan Koontz to punch his ticket to the finals, where he fell to Alex Thompson of Nebraska, another promising young Greco prospect. Miranda would battle back to place fifth.
