Match of the Day: Brock Mauller takes out Dom Demas in the U23 Nationals finals

Missouri All-American Brock Mauller and Oklahoma All-American Dom Demas squared off in the U23 Nationals finals at 65 kg. The pair haven’t wrestled yet in college, as Mauller competes at 149 pounds and Demas is at 141 pounds.
As a true freshman, Mauller placed sixth at the NCAA tournament. Last season, he went 29-1 and earned the No. 4 seed at the NCAA Tournament. In 2019, Demas placed fourth at the NCAA Tournament as a redshirt freshman. Last season, he earned the No. 5 seed with a 26-4 record.
In freestyle, Mauller is a 2017 Fargo Junior runner-up and a 2018 Junior Nationals place winner. Demas is a 2018 Junior World Team member and a 2018 Junior Nationals champion. Demas also made three age-group World Teams in Greco-Roman.
