Defending champion Grand View puts three into NAIA finals, leads Cumberlands by 59.5 points

DES MOINES, Iowa – Grand View, which has won six straight NAIA national team titles, extended its lead over Cumberlands (Ky.) to 59.5 points after the semifinals and morning matches on Saturday.
Grand View have three No. 1 seeds in the finals, Grant Henderson (165), Evan Hansen (197) and Dean Broghammer (285). Henderson and Hansen are national returning champions.
The Cumberlands have three finalists, No. 1 Jake Sinkovics (133.), No. 2 Tres Leon (149) and No. 4 Hayden Lee (125).
Joining as Henderson and Hansen as returning national champions in the finals are two other 2017 NAIA champions have reached the semifinals, Brandon Weber of Montana State-Northern (157) and Demetrius Thomas of Williams Baptist of Arkansas (285).
The championship finals are set for 7:00 p.m. CT, at the Richard O. Jacobson Exhibition Center in Des Moines. Coverage will be on ESPN3.
