Sam Stoll charged by Iowa City Police for "false report to public entity"

Media reports in Iowa have indicated that the Iowa City Police Department is charging University of Iowa All-American heavyweight Sam Stoll with a "false report to public entity charge" for not being truthful after being shot in the knee on June 19.
The University of Iowa issued the following statement from Iowa head coach Tom Brands:
“As I shared previously, Sam Stoll’s health was our number one concern and he is doing well. I am disappointed in his actions related to this incident, as they do not reflect our values. Regarding discipline, we will follow all University and Athletics Department code of conduct policies.”
