by Koral Sugiyama, USA Wrestling
SPOKANE, Wash. – The release of the 2018 Cadet National Greco-Roman Dual All-Tournament Team followed the tournament Thursday evening.
To make the All-Tournament Team, an athlete must go undefeated for the two days of the tournament in that style, with a specific minimum number of matches.
43 athletes represented 16 different states on the All-Tournament Team.
Jore Volk of Minnesota achieved the best record at the tournament, earning 9-0.
Even though Washington finished second in the Gold/Silver bracker, they lead the way with the most All-Tournament team members – seven athletes. Minnesota followed with five athletes earning the All-Tournament honor, and Texas trailed close behind with four young men making the team.
The Cadet National Duals conclude with the freestyle division on Saturday.
You can watch the live action on Trackcast.
