Mt. San Antonio’s Castillo named Tech-Fall.com California CC Wrestler of the Week

Gio Castillo of Mt. San Antonio College has been named the Tech-Fall.com California Community College Wrestler of the Week.
A returning Community College All American, Castillo, wrestling at 125 lbs., methodically worked his way through a solid 32-man bracket to set up a finals showdown with rival Jake Schaeffer of Palomar. Castillo prevailed 10-7 and was given the Award of Excellence at the Meathead Movers Invitational, hosted by Cuesta College.
Gio wrestled for Centennial HS in Corona, California and is currently coached by David Rivera (Head Coach) along with assistant coaches Caleb Flores and Robert Dominguez.
