Grapple on the Gridiron to air on BTN and BTN2Go this weekend

Over 34,000 tickets have been sold for the Grapple on the Gridiron dual between college wrestling’s two most storied programs, Oklahoma State and Iowa, on Saturday.
Fans not in attendance can watch the Grapple on the Gridiron live at 12 p.m. (EST) on BTN2Go this Saturday. The Big Ten Network will replay this historic event on Sunday at 7 p.m. (EST).
BTN2Go requires a television subscription to the Big Ten Network. Contact your local cable or satellite provider for subscription details.
The Grapple on the Gridiron will be wrestled inside Kinnick Stadium on the campus of the University of Iowa prior to the Minnesota vs. Iowa football game. This event marks the first time two NCAA wrestling programs will compete inside a Division I football stadium. Kinnick Stadium has a capacity to hold 70,585 fans.
The NCAA attendance record for a wrestling dual meet is expected to be shattered in Iowa City on Saturday. Penn State currently holds the record at 15,996 attendees for their dual against Pittsburgh held on Dec. 8, 2013.
Oklahoma State enters the Grapple on the Gridiron as the top-ranked team in the nation with Iowa slotting in at No. 4. This will be first dual meet competition for either team on the season.
The Cowboys return five All-Americans to their starting lineup led by two-time NCAA champion Alex Dieringer. Similarly, Iowa returns four All-Americans with NCAA finalist Cory Clark leading the way.
Saturday will mark the 50th time the Cowboys and the Hawkeyes have done battle in a dual meet. Oklahoma State leads the all-time series 27-20-2. The two programs have combined to win 57 NCAA Championships with Oklahoma State boasting 34 and Iowa holding strong at 23.
