Cuesta College’s Cortes named Tech-Fall.com California CC Wrestler of the Week

Josh Cortes of Cuesta College has been named the Tech-Fall.com California Community College Wrestler of the Week.
Josh had a busy weekend, wrestling on Saturday in a set of duals and then competing in a tough open tournament on Sunday.
The SF State U21 Tournament featured 1st and 2nd year wrestlers regardless of division. Josh, ranked at 157, went up to 165 to win by fall and help secure Cuesta’s victory over Santa Rosa JC. Josh placed fourth at the open and was one of the higher placing JC wrestlers.
Josh attended Thousand Oaks HS. He placed 5th at the 2013 CA CC State Championships and is coached by Head Coach Joe Dansby.

October 26 - Gio Castillo, Mt. San Antonio College
October 19 – Mo Nasser, Fresno City
October 12 – Julian Gaytan, Fresno City
October 5 - Alex Graves, Palomar College
