Four USA athletes ranked in January UWW Greco-Roman rankings

The new United World Wrestling Greco-Roman rankings for January 2015 are now available.


There are four American athletes that are ranked in the top 20 Greco-Roman wrestlers in the world at their weight class.


The top ranked American is Andy Bisek (Colorado Springs, Colo./Minnesota Storm) who has earned the No. 4 ranking at 75kg. Bisek was third in the 2015 World Championships.


Spenser Mango (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army WCAP) sits at No. 11 at 59kg. Mango was fifth in the 2015 World Championships.


Also ranked is Bryce Saddoris (Camp LeJeune, N.C./U.S. Marines), who is No. 16 at 66kg and Jon Anderson (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army WCAP), who is No. 18 at 75 kg.


Both Saddoris and Anderson won a silver medals at the CISM Military World Championships at Fort Dix, N.J in October. Anderson won gold in two international recent events, the Minnesota Storm Holiday Cup on Dec. 19 and the Bill Farrell International on Nov. 8, both where he competed at 85 kg.

No. 18 (75kg) – Jon Anderson, Colorado Springs, Colo. (U.S. Army WCAP)
