Adult wrestlers to battle at the 2015 Veterans Nationals in Las Vegas, May 6-7

Adult wrestlers 25-years-old and above will have the chance to compete in the 2015 Veterans National Championships in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling.
Greco-Roman wrestlers will compete on Wednesday, May 6, and the freestyle competition will be held the following day, Thursday, May 7.
The competition is broken down into five age divisions: Div. A (Born 1983-1990), Div. B (Born 1975-1982), Div. C (Born 1967-1974), Div. D (Born 1960-1966) and Div. E (Born 1959 and before).
In recent years, the U.S. Veterans Nationals featured wrestlers from around the world. The event had a total of nine Veteran wrestlers win in both the freestyle and Greco-Roman competitions at the 2014 Veteran Nationals.
Double champions last year included:
• Division A: Daniel Jacobs at 69 kg and Maurice Washington at 76 kg
• Division B: Aleksandr Serebrinnikov at 63 kg
• Division C: Michael Tuck at 58 kg and Chad Shilson at 63 kg
• Division D: Igor Llin at 76 kg and Paul Jones at 130 kg (freestyle)/97 kg (Greco-Roman)
• Division E: Bruce Moe at 76 kg and Joe Reasbeck at 130 kg
Veterans wrestlers that meet the required age will also have a chance to compete in the Veterans World Championships each year. This year, the Veterans Freestyle and Greco-Roman World Championships will be held in Athens, Greece, Oct. 13-18.
Last year, the USA brought home six gold medals from the 2014 Veteran World Championships. At the Veteran World Freestyle Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, champions included Eduard Aliakseyenka, Mark Marshall, Shirzad Ahmadi, Jack Hornbuckle and Kenneth Peters. At the Veteran World Greco-Roman Championships, also in Belgrade, Serbia, Chris Brown won gold for the USA.
2014 Veteran World freestyle silver medalists included Jason Goldman, Michael Tuck, Sam Chagolla, Craig Johnson and Kevin Hejnah. Bronze medalists included Octavius Bellamy, Stephen Horton, Kevin Pine, Jamey Kasser, Kurt Beinlich, Bruce Moe, Chris Brown and Steve Barkman.
Moe and Jason Goldman won silver medals in the Veteran World Greco-Roman competition. Bellamy, Horton, Barkman and Kenneth Peters won bronze medals in the Greco-Roman competition.
