Northern Michigan OTS hosts Superior Wrestling Camp

MARQUETTE, Mich. — Northern Michigan University’s Olympic Training Site will host athletes from four European countries for the Superior Wrestling Camp June 1-10 in the Superior Dome.
Notable international attendees include athletes from France, Sweden, Germany and Czech Republic; U.S. teams participating include teams from Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Ohio, Alabama, Wisconsin and Minnesota as well as individual participants from all across the country.
Steeve Guenot (gold in 2008 Olympics, bronze in 2012 Olympics) and Christophe Guenot (bronze in 2008 Olympics) are former Olympic medalists who are also coaches for the French team.
All participating athletes are at the Junior or Cadet level. Monday-Saturday (June 1-7) will be practice days and Sunday-Tuesday (June 8-10) will be dual practice matches.
