USA Wrestling would like to clarify that 17-year old women are not eligible to compete at the Senior level starting this year. There is some confusion about this within the women's wrestling community.
The birth years for the Senior men and women are the same for both domestic competition as well as international competition. The age and weight chart has been changed to reflect this.
According to the age-group regulations, 18 and 19 year olds are eligible for Senior level, with a medical certificate. Those 20 and older are also included in the Senior division.
These will be used for women's competitions here in the United States, including at the Dave Schultz Memorial International Tournament, in Colorado Springs, Colo., Jan, 29-Feb 1
