AUSTIN, TX - Flowrestling will be LIVE streaming this year's Las Vegas/ASICS Open Championships April 16th-19th, 2014. The four-day freestyle and Greco-Roman competition is headlined by Senior U.S. Open action, which starts on Friday, but also includes: Veterans Nationals, Western Junior Regionals, the Kids/Cadet Vegas Open Championships and FILA Junior Nationals.
Last year's tournament featured a much anticipated David Taylor vs. Jordan Burroughs match up, the beginning of the Oliver vs. Metcalf rivalry, Dom Bradley's unseating of Tervel Dlagnev and a Reece Humphrey tournament run we weren't exactly ready for. In the FILA Junior division, we saw high school sophomore Aaron Pico knock off college wrestler after college wrestler on his way to a 63kg title; Jason Tsirtsis went unscored upon at 66kg; Ben Whitford won a loaded 60kg bracket that included Corey Clark, Jimmy Gulibon, Zane Richards, Mark Grey and Hayden Tuma to name a few.
Las Vegas/Asics Open Championships is once again highlighted by Senior US Open and FILA Juniors action; this weekend offers wrestling fans plenty.
