FLASH: USA wins Pan Am Juniors women's title, led by golds from Klingel and Miracle

SANTIAGO, Chile - Led by two individual champions and six medalists, Team USA won the title at the Pan American Junior Championships on Saturday.
Claiming individual gold medals were Samantha Klingel (Kresgeville, Pa./King College) at 51 kg/112.25 lbs. and Kayla Miracle (Bloomington, Ind./Team Indiana) at 59 kg/130 lbs.
Miracle is a past Cadet World silver medalist. Klingel is a star on the college level for King College.
The USA came through with four bronze medalists:
- Allene Somera, Kailua, Hawaii (NYAC) at 44 kg/100 lbs.
- Shai Mason, Gardena, Calif. Jimmie WC) at 63 kg/138.75 lbs.
- Amy Spafford, St. Charles, Mo. (Lindenwood Women's WC) at 67 kg/147.5 lbs.
- Anastasia Lobsinger Concord, Calif. (Concord Youth Center) at 72 kg/158.5 lbs.
The USA finished in first, followed by Venezuela and Canada in the standings
The team is coached by Oklahoma City head coach Archie Randall of Mustang, Okla. and Lindenwood head coach Toccara Montgomery of St. Charles, Mo.
