Rutgers to Host Beat the Streets Match Sunday, Feb. 24

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Feb. 19, 2013) -- Rutgers is hosting a Beat the Streets match prior to the Scarlet Knights wrestling team taking on Penn State Sunday, Feb. 24. Beat the Streets Philly will take on Beat the Streets NYC at 11 a.m. in the RAC.
The Beat the Streets organizations help establish youth wrestling programs in their metropolitan areas. Their mission is to provide resources and to develop the full human and athletic potential of urban youth by giving them an opportunity to wrestle.
The Beat the Sreets Chairman of the Board, Mike Novogratz, is a leading advocate for Olympic wrestling.
The event will be combined with the Rutgers and Penn State match, which starts at 1 p.m., with one ticket for both. Prices are $15 for the lower section and $12 for the upper section.
