GREELEY, Colo. – It was complete domination by the Oklahoma State Cowboys Saturday afternoon in Greeley, Colo. as they defeated Northern Colorado 48-0.
The Cowboys won eight of the ten matches in bonus point fashion securing three falls, four technical falls and a major decision on the day.
Oklahoma State sophomore Eddie Kilmara started off the dual with an 11-2 major decision over Northern Colorado’s Trey Andrews at 125 lbs.
Cowboy star senior Jon Morrison picked up the first fall of the day for Oklahoma State pinning Sonny Espinoza in 4:12 pushing the team score to 10-0 in favor of OSU.
Both Josh Kindig at 149 lbs. and Jordan Rogers at 184 lbs. also secured falls for the Cowboys.
At 157 lbs. returning Cowboy All-American Alex Dieringer had a closer than anticipated bout as he narrowly escaped UNC’s Mitchell Polkowske 4-3.
Other victors for the Cowboys included Anthony Collica, Tyler Caldwell, Chris Perry and Blake Rosholt.

Oklahoma State Head Coach John Smith was pleased with his team's performance as they bounced back from two consecutive dual meet losses.
"I was glad to see us score points and I was glad to see the bonus points racked up," Smith said. "Just continuing to insure that we are trying to improve off those last two matches ... It was good to see some of that coming out today."
Oklahoma State now travels to Laramie, Wyo. where they will face off against the Wyoming Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. MST this evening.
