In order to encourage more young women wrestlers to compete, the USA Wrestling Preseason Nationals has developed a discounted entry fee for those who register to compete in the event during the rest of the month of September.
The nation's top preseason folkstyle wrestling competition will be held November 3-4 at the UNI-Dome on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
The discounted registration fee for the event will be $20, which is a huge discount from the regular $48 entry fee for all other divisions.
The special will end on September 30 at 12:00 midnight Central Time, when the fee goes back to $48.
NOTE: THIS DISCOUNT IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO GIRLS WHO ARE ENTERING THE GIRLS DIVISION
There is one division available for girls, which is for Grades 9-12.
The women weigh in on Saturday, November 3rd from 6-8 p.m. with the competition held on Sunday, November 4th.
This is a new opportunity for high school girls to have a quality competition prior to their high school season and to test themselves against other high school girls in folkstyle wrestling.
Women's wrestling continues to grow in the United States. The Preseason Nationals would like to help support this growth by providing a great early season event for girls from across the nation.
