USA vs. Russia dual moved from Hofstra to New York City on November 11; Strong Russian lineup announced

The USA vs. Russia men's freestyle dual meet set for Hofstra University on Sunday, November 11 has been moved to the New York Athletic Club in New York City.
The change in location was in response to the many challenges currently being faced by those who live on Long Island and were affected by the recent Superstorm Sandy which hit the area last week. Many people are still without electricity and others are still out of their homes.
The New York Athletic Club, which is hosting the annual New York Athletic Club International Championships in New York City from November 9-10, has agreed to host the dual meet as well.
The time of the USA vs. Russia dual meet has been changed to 10:30 a.m. to accommodate the change.
In addition, the Russian lineup has been announced for the dual meet. Russia will bring a talented and successful young team to New York.
The team is led by 2009 World silver medalist Rasul Dzukaev at 66 kg/145.5 lbs. Dzukaev was third in the 2008 European Championships and won a gold medal at the respected Ivan Yarygin Grand Prix in 2008.
The team features three past Junior World Champions: Andrey Valiev (84 kg/185 lbs.), Koloy Kortoev (84 kg/185 lbs.) and Khani Nurasulov (120 kg/264.5 lbs.).
Valiev competed in the Beat the Streets USA vs. Russia dual meets in 2011 and 2012, winning both bouts.
Also on the Russian team is 2011 Ivan Yarygin Grand Prix champion Saba Khubezhti at 74 kg/163 lbs.
The final U.S. lineup for the dual meet will be announced this week.
The event will be webcast live by TheMat.com and its video portal, TheMat.tv.
Tickets for the dual meet cost $10 and will be sold at the door.
