U.S. Olympic Greco-Roman wrestler Chas Betts will be honored at an Olympic Send-off in his home community on Saturday, July 21.
The event will be held at Neighbors Eatery and Saloon in Albertville, Minn. from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
The event will feature a number of activities, as well as special guests within wrestling. Beer, pop and snacks will be provided. There will be a variety of raffles held during the event. Chas Betts Olympic t-shirts will also be available.

Chas Betts continues a long line of Minnesota Greco-Roman wrestlers to earn berths on the U.S. Olympic Team.
Betts earned his spot on the team with a victory at at 84 kg/185 at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Iowa City, Iowa.
Betts qualified the USA to compete at the Olympic Games at 84 kg/185 lbs. with a silver medal performance at the 2012 Pan American Olympic Games Qualifier in Florida.
Chas was a member of the 2009 U.S. World Team. He won both the Dave Schultz Memorial International and the Pan American Championships in early 2012.
He went to St. Michael-Albertville High School, and attended Northern Michigan University, where he was a member of the U.S. Olympic Education Center Greco-Roman program. He is currently a resident athlete at the U.S. Olympic Training Center.
