Schildroth defeated on final day at Veterans Greco Worlds in Poland

RACIBORZ, Poland -- Jeffery Schildroth of Montague, Mich., the final U.S. athlete at the Veterans World Greco-Roman Championships in Raciborz, Poland, was defeated in his only match on October 9.
Schildroth was competing in Division A (35-40 years) at 76 kg. He lost his only bout to Tero Lipsonen of Finland. When Lipsonen did not reach the finals, Schildroth was eliminated from the competition.
The U.S. finished with five medals during the three-day event, one of its strongest efforts in recent years.
