Athletes interested in competing at the popular 2011 USA Wrestling ASICS Folkstyle Nationals in Cedar Falls, Iowa are encouraged to sign up right away to guarantee a spot in the tournament. The event is set for the UNI-Dome, April 1-3.
Registration ends on Tuesday, March 29 at 11:59 p.m. Central time.

There will be a limit on the tournament, with a maximum of 1,100 entries in the Cadet and Junior divisions, and a limit of 1,500 entries in the Youth divisions (Schoolboy and under) plus Veterans.
At this time, there are already almost 1,500 athletes registered in all divisions, representing over 37 states.

The Special Guest at this year's event is Brent Metcalf, a member of the 2010 U.S. World Freestyle Team. He was second in the 2009 U.S. Open. Metcalf was also a member of the 2006 U.S. Junior World Freestyle Team.
In college, Metcalf was a two-time NCAA champion and three-time NCAA finalist for the University of Iowa. He was the 2008 Dan Hodge Trophy winner, as the nation's best college wrestler. His aggressive style and his mastery of technique made him a fan favorite.
In high school, Metcalf won four Michigan state titles for the national ranked Davison High School program. He became only the second wrestler to ever win six Junior National titles, winning both the freestyle and Greco-Roman tournaments for three straight years.
