U.S. Open to be broadcast on FOX College Sports, with 10 airdates already set

USA Wrestling is pleased to announce that the U.S. Open Wrestling Championships will be broadcast on the FOX College Sports.
A two-hour broadcast will be produced with highlights from the gold-medal finals in Cleveland, Ohio. Van Stokes and Jason Bryant will call the action, which will feature the nation's top Olympic-caliber wrestlers.
Expect to see the nation's top wrestlers in action on this broadcast. The U.S. Open will take place April 8-9 at Cleveland Public Hall.
Entered in the field are World champions Dremiel Byers of the U.S. Army in Greco-Roman plus Kristie Davis of the Gator WC/OCU and Clarissa Chun of the Sunkist Kids in women's wrestling.
Among the World medalists who are expected in the field are men's freestyle wrestlers Jake Herbert of the New York AC and Tervel Dlagnev of the Sunkist Kids, women's freestyle wrestlers Elena Pirozhkova of the Gator WC and Tatiana Padilla of the Sunkist Kids and Greco-Roman wrestler Justin Ruiz of the New York AC.
FOX College Sports includes three networks, FCS Atlantic, FCS Central and FCS Pacific. The network specializes in showing collegiate programming, live events, coaches shows and other content.
Ten airdates have been announced, with more expected to be added.
Saturday, April 23 on FCS Central at 8:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.
Sunday, April 24 on FCS Central at 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 26 on FCS Pacific at 10:00 p.m.
Thursday, April 28 on FCS Pacific at 11:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 1 on FCS Pacific at 7:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m.
Tuesday, May 3 on FCS Pacific at 3:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
In addition to the national television broadcast, TheMat.com will provide live webcast coverage of the U.S. Open on both days of competition. More details about TheMat.com webcast will be announced in the coming days.
