Southern Conference's Wrestler of the Month is Citadel's Turtogtokh Luvsandorj

Charleston, S.C. - A day after being named the Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week, the league office announced on Thursday that The Citadel's Turtogtokh Luvsandorj has been named the Wrestler of the Month for December. Luvsandorj (Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia) continued his early season success with an overall record of 13-2 and four wins over ranked opponents in the month of December. The 165-pounder continues to be among the SoCon leaders in total wins. The sophomore took third place at two prestigious tournaments last month at the Penn State Open and the Southern Scuffle. He finished higher than any other SoCon participant at the Southern Scuffle and upset No. 5 PJ Gillespie of Hofstra in the third place match. His overall record this season now sits at 23-4. The Bulldog grappler ended the month ranked inside or around the top-10 in every major wrestling poll.
