Heath Hertel and Rob Koll will go "On the Mat" this Wednesday, December 7.
"On the Mat" is a presentation of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum. The show can be heard live on the Internet at www.kcnzam.com or locally in Northeast Iowa each Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM Central on AM 1650, The Fan.

Hertel authored the high school wrestling fiction novel "To Be The Best" in 2008. The book's success led to the publication of a sequel, "Rematch" last month. Hertel will discuss both books and the possibility of making it a trilogy.
Koll is the head wrestling coach at Cornell University. He led his team second place finishes at the 2010 NCAA tournament and 2011 NCAA tournament. Koll was an NCAA champion for North Carolina in 1988.
