Ellis Coleman might not have won the Junior World Championships last week in Bucharest, Romania, but his electrifying three-point throw in his quarterfinal win over Iran's Mehdi Chooli Zeidvand has caught the attention of the mainstream media.
Coleman's "flying squirrel" also has been featured on Yahoo.com's main page for the past two days. The USA Wrestling video of the full match has been watched over 14,000 times, while the initial video posted by a YouTube user has been watched over 1.3 million times already.
After being talked about by dozens of wrestling and mixed martial arts message boards, Coleman's move, the flying squirrel, has caught the eye of ESPN.
After finishing with a bronze medal for the second time at the Junior World Championships, Coleman will be a guest on ESPN's First Take on Tuesday, August 2 at 11:20 a.m. Eastern Time.
