Burroughs and Ware to go 'On the Mat' this week

U.S. Open freestyle champions Jordan Burroughs and Teyon Ware will be radio show guests this week.
"On the Mat" is a presentation of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum and can be heard live on the Internet at www.kcnzam.com or locally in Northeast Iowa each Wednesday from 5:00 - 6:00 PM Central time on AM 1650, The Fan. Burroughs won his second NCAA title for the University of Nebraska in March, completing his junior and senior seasons undefeated. He won the Dan Hodge Trophy as the most dominant college wrestler in the country and won the U.S. Open freestyle title at 163 pounds.
Ware was a four-time All-American and two-time NCAA champion for Oklahoma at 141 pounds. He recently won the U.S. Open in freestyle at 145.5 pounds.
Burroughs and Ware will both enter the World Team Trials in Oklahoma City on June 10-11 as the No. 1 seed in their respective weight classes and will be looking to become World Team members for the first time.
