Hutchison named OW after capturing University Nationals women's freestyle title

AKRON, Ohio - Oklahoma City's Michaela Hutchison rallied for a big finals wins.
And she was awarded with the Outstanding Wrestler trophy at the University Nationals women's freestyle competition.
Hutchison downed past World University champion Katherine Fulp-Allen 0-1, 2-0, 5-1 in the finals at 55 kg/121 lbs on Saturday at the University of Akron Field House.
Hutchison, sixth in the U.S. Open earlier this month in Cleveland, was one of eight champions crowned during the women's competition on Saturday in Akron.
The top two finishers in each weight class qualify for June's U.S. World Team Trials in Oklahoma City.
Trinity Plessinger repeated as champion after earning the title at 59 kg/130 lbs.
Plessinger downed Ashley Hudson 2-0, 6-1 in the finals bout.
