CAA tournament seeds released

Lawrenceville, N.J. -- Old Dominion University has all 10 wrestlers seeded, including three top seeds and Binghamton University has three top seeds among its eight seeded wrestlers in the 2010 Colonial Athletic Association Championships, hosted by Rider University March 5-6.
Old Dominion, ranked 23rd in the nation, will be led by top seeds James Nicholson, ranked seventh in the nation mat 125, Chris Brown, ranked 14th at 154 and Jesse Strawn, ranked 12th at 197.
Binghamton will be led by Anwar Goeres, the top seed at 141, Justin Lister, the top seed at 157 and Nate Schiedel, the top seed at 184.
Host Rider University has nine wrestlers seeded, including a pair of top seeds, two-time defending champion heavyweight Ed Bordas and three-time NCAA qualifier Mike Kessler at 149.
Hofstra, the eight-time defending champion, has seven wrestlers seeded among the top six in their weight class.
George Mason University has seven wrestlers seeded, including the top seeded 174, Bagna Tovuujav, who is ranked 16th in the nation.
Drexel University has seven wrestlers seeded, including the top seed at 133, Steve Mytych, who is ranked 15th in the nation.
Boston University has seven wrestlers seeded and Sacred Heart has five seeded wrestlers.
The tournament begins Friday at 1:00 pm with the quarterfinals. Consolations begin at 4:00 pm and Semifinals begin at 7:00 pm Friday.
Competition resumes Saturday at 10:00 am with the second round of consolations, with consolations and finals beginnings at 1:00 pm Saturday.
