Mike Zadick, Steve Fraser to go 'On the Mat' this week

2006 World silver medalist Mike Zadick and 1984 Olympic champion Steve Fraser will be radio show guests this week.
"On the Mat" is a presentation of the Dan Gable International Wrestling Institute and Museum and can be heard live on the Internet at www.kcnzam.com or locally in Northeast Iowa each Wednesday from 5:00 - 6:00 PM Central time on AM 1650, The Fan. Mike Zadick was a three-time All-American at the University of Iowa prior to his international career. Zadick recently won the World Team Trials in June in the 132-pound freestyle division and will be competing at the World Championships in Moscow, Russia in September. Zadick won a World silver medal in 2006, was a World team member in 2007 and an Olympian in 2008.
Steve Fraser was the first American wrestler to win an Olympic gold medal in the Greco-Roman discipline, claiming the top spot at 198 pounds in Los Angeles in 1984. He was a two-time All-American at the University of Michigan and has been the National Greco-Roman Coach since 1995. Fraser led the 2007 team to its only Greco-Roman World team championship.
