NEWS FLASH: Great weather forecast for Beach Nationals & World Team Trials in Rochester, N.Y., July 10-11

Great weather is forecast for the 2010 U.S. Beach National Wrestling Championships and World Team Trials which will be in Rochester, N.Y., July 10-11.
Scattered thunderstorms were a welcome relief, as they moved through the region on Friday, smashing the heat wave and bringing more comfortable temperatures in the 80s to the area.
The Weather Channel forecasts nice weather on both Saturday and Sunday in Rochester, with little chance of precipitation. It should be a great weekend for the competition, set for Ontario Beach Park (also called Charlotte Beach).
Wrestlers still have two chances to register and weigh-in for the U.S. Beach National Championships.
The first registration and weigh-in has been set for Friday night, July 9, from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., at the Cheeburger Cheeburger Restaurant, at 1000 North River Street in Rochester, which is right near the beach.
The second registration and weigh-in will be held on Saturday morning, July 10 from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., at Ontario Beach Park, the site of the competition.
The U.S. Beach National Championships will start on Saturday at approximately 11:30 a.m. There will be competition in five age groups: Schoolboy/girl, Cadet, Junior, Senior (men and women) and Veterans. In all age groups, weight classes will be determined after weighins, using the blocked weight system.
The U.S. Senior Beach World Team Trials, as well as the National High School Beach Duals will be held on Sunday, July 11.
